                                                     WHY:         to have FUN AND SHOW PRIDE IN OUR POST

ON Saturday, JULY 4, 2015:   DEMONSTRATE LOVE OF COUNTRY BY RIDING ON OUR FLOAT
                                                    where:    in the parade starting area - stop by the post and they will direct you
                                                    when:      parade starts at 9:00 but you need to be here much earlier to sign up
                                                    Why:        to have fun and show pride in our post

The annual Santa Clarita Fourth of July Parade is one of the best parades in the State of California.  The American Legion has been part of the celebration since our Post was chartered in 1934.  We have always been there at the head of the Veterans section.

For the past couple of years, we have not participated at a high level.  Help support our post, our community and others in the parade by riding on our float.  If your heart is still beating, you can ride and we need your help to show that we care about our community and our post.

All of our new Post Officers should be in the parade.  Come on down, meet them and have fun!
